We have finally finished the flat, loft conversion, granny flat... call it what you will. Just for the furniture to be put in. But now I feel its done. Hi, we have been so busy trying to get this sorted out after the ceiling replacement, car breaking down and tools too. So 6 days behined schedual. However we are now painting the bedroom and finishing wallpapering the mini hallway. Check out the GALLERY!

5 days later and it doesn't look like much has been done. But with challenges in getting materials on time and the car as usual playing up at any project... so not too bad. Also a funny thing that happened today. The ladder disappeared from under me and hence fell straight down from the attic! Sore bum but nothing broken except ego. Well we removed most of the old plaster due to it crumbing away. Prepared most of the skeleton. moved the door prepared part of the bathroom for the plumbing and electrics. Check it out at the GALLERY!

Looks like I am on the fast lane again. Got a new project to finish before Christmas. Adding a bathroom, putting more light to the livingroom by removing the old toilet and making it into a bar. And in general utiliseing a lot of wasted space. This is all with the approval of a structural engineer. You can see the progress by going to the GALLERY!

My photos have been uploaded from the past. These are scans so quality are not as good. However there are some interesting wide shot like walking through a desert but its snowing in the Tanzania/kilimanjaro ablum, and of Mir in the Belarus/Mir album. After 3 months of hard physical work... Designing, building, tears and joy of my brother's house is finally complete. This was the biggest project I have undertaken. I learnt how to do almost everything on a building site. From organising the workers and keeping up morals with different characters to plastering, flooring, tiling and lots more. Its funny how the interior looks good but empty without everyone and everything there. Almost like a ghost house now. By clicking on the picture you will see before during and after photos. Enjoy.
